Tour to the Odessa Opera House.<\/h3>\n

\"tour<\/a>Many people come to Odessa only in order to see and visit this architectural masterpiece, recognized as one of the most beautiful theaters in Europe!
\nOdessa Opera and Ballet Theater was built from 1884 to 1887, by Viennese architects Helmer and Felner in place of the first opera house, which was burned down in 1873. New theater building is in the late French Baroque style. It is decorated with hundreds of details and symbols, meaning of which our guide will help you to read.
\nHowever, the external decoration of the theater can\u2019t be compared with its interior decoration. This is the most luxurious style of architecture – rococo. Inside the theater is decorated with more than ten kilograms of red gold, which is interwoven in endless bends of numerous sculptural groups. \"tour<\/a>The auditorium is decorated in red velvet. The biggest crystal chandelier in the theater world hanging in it. The ceiling is painted with scenes from Shakespeare’s tragedies and comedies.
\nYou will admire this splendor and listen to a story about the history of the theater, personalities who glorified it, about the impact which theatre had on the lives of ordinary Odessa citizens in the XIX-th century.
